The Diabetes Association of Atlanta, Inc. (DAA) invites you to join us for the 12^th Annual Downtown Dash for Diabetes.  Join us for music, food, free diabetes screenings, and an entire morning of festivities. The race starts Saturday, March 15^th, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. in Hurt Park (across from Georgia State University) and travels past the Capitol and through Historic Oakland Cemetery.  Awards will be given to the Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female and the top three finishers for each sex in five year age increments from ages 10 and under to 70 and over.  Register online at www.diabetesatlanta.org or return attached entry form.  Pre-registration is $20 by March 10, 2008. Onsite registration will begin at 7:45 a.m. for $25.  If you are unable to attend race day, you may still participate as a “phantom dasher” by simply donating a gift.  You can also collect pledges from family and friends to support DAA.

100% of all proceeds support the mission of Diabetes Association of Atlanta to provide diabetes medication, medical supplies and education to the uninsured and underserved persons living in Metro Atlanta.
